Change many prices at once, or run a sale that ends on time and puts your prices back. You see every new price before anything changes, and undo puts the old ones back. This page is the short version of how that works, written by the people who answer the email.
There is nothing to add to your theme. The app changes prices in Shopify, and your theme shows them the way it shows any price. Each job's page in the app lists every price it changed.
The rules, in the app's own words from its undo screen:
So if you changed a price by hand after a job ran, undo leaves your price as it is and tells you so. After a price change finishes, undo stays available for 30 days, and the job's page shows the date. A sale is undone by ending it.
Uninstalling the app doesn't put prices back. End your sales before you uninstall.
Once the app is uninstalled, Shopify removes our access to your store, so we can't put prices back afterwards either. If you have sales running or scheduled, the app's Settings page shows a button, End all sales and put prices back. It ends every one of them and puts prices back by the same rule as undo: a price you changed by hand since is kept.
If you uninstall with a sale still running and install the app again soon after, its home screen lists the sale the uninstall stopped, with a Put prices back button. Soon means before Shopify asks us to delete your store's records, which is normally 48 hours after you uninstall. After that the app no longer knows what the old prices were.
Shopify lets us change roughly 500 to 3,500 prices a minute depending on your plan. A job on 10,000 variants takes about 3 to 20 minutes. Scheduled sales start early enough to be fully applied at the time you chose.
They go to your store email, the address Shopify holds for your store, which you can change in Shopify's store settings. You choose which you get under Settings, Emails: “A job finishes” and “A sale starts and ends” are on until you turn them off, “A day before a sale ends” is off until you turn it on, and “Something needs your attention” is always sent. A reply to any of them reaches us.
We answer every message, and we would rather hear about something than not.
The fastest way is the chat window in the app's admin screen, bottom right. Writing from there means we already know which app you are using, which store you are on, and which version you are running, so you can start with the problem instead of the paperwork. Or email support@mowz.nl, any time.
Most messages get a reply within a few hours, and always within one working day. We are a small team in the Netherlands (CET/CEST), so a message sent in the middle of our night is answered in our morning. During launch weeks and the Black Friday period we watch the inbox far more closely than that. If we can't solve something straight away we'll tell you that, rather than leave you wondering.
These get you an answer in one reply instead of three:
