Shopify apps that do one job, in the best possible way.

We make Shopify apps. The aim is the same every time: simple, easy to use, and useful from the day it is installed.

What that means in practice

One problem, solved simply

Nine rule types. One countdown bar per store. One delivery calculation per shop. Each app solves one problem as well and as simply as we can, instead of many problems badly.

The first ten minutes

Setup runs in the order it depends on. A link takes you to the theme switch that must be on; you press Save. Limits are on screen before you meet them, and the preview updates as you type.

A guest on your storefront

On your storefront, no request goes to any host but your own domain and Shopify's CDN. Under 15KB, deferred. Uninstall, and nothing of ours is left behind.

The apps

Each one takes a job a store owner already has, and stops there.

Mowz Product Labels & Badges

Puts a badge on the right products, without editing product images by hand.

  • Nine rule types: on sale, price range, out of stock or low stock, collection membership, vendor (brand), tag, product type, new arrivals, and products you pick by hand.
  • A badge on the product image, or a line of text under the title or price.
  • Live numbers in the text: percent off, amount saved or stock left, filled in for each product.
  • Start and end dates: a label goes up and comes down on its own, in your store's time zone.
  • 24 shapes and 50 ready styles in 13 collections, or your own text and colours.
  • On your product pages: the corner you choose, on the featured image only.
  • No product cap: a rule covers your whole catalogue, however large it is.

Nine rule types, as many labels as you need, and no product cap.

The badge on the featured image, in the corner the merchant chose, and on none of the gallery images. In the merchant’s colours, not ours.

Mowz Countdown Timer Bar

Shows everyone who lands on your store how long is left on a sale.

  • One bar, fixed to the top or the bottom of the page, always in its own space.
  • Three countdown modes: a fixed end date and time, the same time every day, or a delivery deadline that counts down to your order cutoff, with an estimated delivery date.
  • An optional start time, and your choice of what happens when it ends.
  • Five design presets, your own colours, and a separate text size for mobile.
  • A live preview in desktop and mobile framing, updating as you type.

One active bar per store. The limit is on the first screen, before you build anything.

The bar in its own space at the top of the page. The page below it does not move. Drawn in this page’s own HTML: not a screenshot, and not a store we do not have.

Mowz Delivery Deadline

Tells a shopper how long they have left to order for a given delivery date.

  • The order-by deadline first, with the delivery estimate underneath it.
  • Cutoff times per weekday, processing days, transit range, weekends, holidays.
  • A plain-language read-back, so you can check the maths before you publish.
  • A Christmas deadline preset, filled in on the first run.
  • The countdown computes in your shop's timezone, in the shopper's browser.

Delivery dates are estimates, and the block says so. One calculation for the whole shop, not one per country.

The deadline first, the estimate underneath, and the word “estimate” on the block itself: app 2’s never-cut line.

Mowz Bulk Price Editor & Sales

Changes many prices at once, or runs a sale that ends on its own and puts your prices back.

  • Pick products by collection, vendor, tag, product type or sale status, or pick them by hand.
  • A price change up or down, by a percentage or an amount, with rounding to .99, .95 or whole numbers.
  • A sale with the old price crossed out, a start and an end, in your store’s time zone.
  • Every variant’s old and new price on a review page, before anything changes.
  • Undo for 30 days. A price changed since, by you or another app, is left alone.

A product is in one sale or price change at a time, so two jobs never fight over the same price.

FreeComing soon to the Shopify App Store

Every price before it changes, and nothing written until you confirm. Drawn in this page’s own HTML from the app’s review page: not a screenshot.

Who we are

We think a small tool that does one thing properly beats a large one that nearly does five. That belief is the whole company. Every hour we spend on setup is an hour a store owner does not, and once an app is on it should keep doing its job unnoticed. The people who write the apps answer the email, on European hours.

No Mowz app asks for access to customers, orders, checkouts or payments. Read-only theme setup, plus products where we count or check them, and their prices where the price editor changes them.
